About the Role

We are looking for a highly-capable python developer to become a key player in our growing team and to help accelerate our product development cadence. The core responsibilities will be:

  • Ideation - sharing your thoughts and ideas on how we can improve our product, development and processes.

  • Development - adding new features and functionality to the product.

  • Testing - maintaining the test suite and ensuring stability of the product.

The product is designed to work both as an online tool, as well as a downloadable product to operate in offline environments. This is achieved using the FastAPI framework in conjunction with Pywebview, and a frontend built with Svelte.

We are also looking to leverage large language models via Langchain to enhance the capabilities and user experience of the product.

Ideal Candidate

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Good STEM degree from a top UK university.

  • Graduate level or 1-2 years experience.

  • Evidence of exceptional ability. This may include examples of previous accomplishments or projects.

  • Experience contributing to python-based projects.

  • Understanding of basic software development principles and the software development lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with git version control.

  • A continuous interest in exploring new technologies and framework and their applications.

    The following are preferred but not essential:

    • Experience working with APIs and REST APIs

    • Experience with python web frameworks

    • Familiarity with frontend technologies and frameworks

    • Experience working with Langchain

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled solutions consultant with around 1 - 3 years of experience in the IT sector to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting our customers' data migration needs. We are looking for an individual who is eager to work in the technology sector, is ambitious to take on responsibilities and experience hands on coaching from a seasoned team.

As a solutions consultant, you will play an important role in contributing to the company's software revenue and customer growth objectives by becoming a subject matter expert in data migration and Precision Bridge’s solutions supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities such as product demonstrations to designing and delivering solutions.

Extensive training and coaching will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Becoming a subject matter expert in data migration and Precision Bridge solutions

Setting up and delivering high-quality presentations and demonstrations

Utlising Precision Bridge solution’s to support the delivery of projects

Responding to product information requests

Working with internal support and development teams to ensure effective coordination and communication

Ideal Candidate:

• Good Quality Bachelors degree in a STEM subject from a top UK university

• 1-3 years of experience in an IT-based, customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a penchant for critical and creative thinking

• Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively to a diverse audience.

• Proactive, adaptable and self-motivated, with a readiness to learn and tackle new challenges

• Interest in technology and Artificial Intelligence

Ideal Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or other similar platforms).

  • Experience with database platforms such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

  • A keen interest in leveraging AI tools for learning and researching IT applications.
